      Receptor for lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a mediator of diverse cellular activities. May play a role in the development of ovarian cancer. Seems to be coupled to the G(i)/G(o) and G(q) families of heteromeric G proteins.

    Regarding ab93905 the homology between the peptide from the human sequence used as the immunogen and the corresponding region in mouse is 88%. The homology between the human sequence used as the immunogen and the sequence of human EDG2 is 31%.

    Regarding ab13027, the immunogenic sequence used to generate this antibody shares 100% homology with the corresponding mouse sequence. A blast analysis against human EDG7 shows a query coverage of only 36%.
