I have recently purchased Anti-Mammaglobin A antibody [31A5] (ab82203). I have tried a number of conditions on various mouse mammary gland sections alongside my normal staining. I have tried citrate and high pH antigen retrieval in combination with either envision, ABC and impress amplification and had no staining at all. As ab cam has other mammaglobin antibodies, rather than a refund, could I have this antibody replaced with another which is more likley to work as I am keen to do this staining as soon as possible. Regards

Thank you for getting back to me and for confirming the order details. Currently, ab82203 is the only antibody against Mammaglobin A which has been tested for cross-reaction with mouse samples. Although, we have some other antibodies against the same target protein, but none of them have been used in murine tissues. I could certainly offer you a new vial of ab82203 as a free of charge replacement but it would be from the same batch (purification) since we do not have any new batch available yet. We are not aware of any batch-related quality problem so this may be a "one off" case and it may be worth trying a new vial if you wish. Please do let me know how you wish to proceed with your enquiry. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
