The application notes include recommended starting dilutions; optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
ELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.25 - 1 µg/ml.
sELISA: Use at a concentration of 0.25 - 1 µg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, ab91449 allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human MASPIN.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 42 kDa. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant Human MASPIN is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Not yet tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
Tumor suppressor. It blocks the growth, invasion, and metastatic properties of mammary tumors. As it does not undergo the S (stressed) to R (relaxed) conformational transition characteristic of active serpins, it exhibits no serine protease inhibitory activity.
Normal mammary epithelial cells.
Belongs to the serpin family. Ov-serpin subfamily.
