i need to measure class II MHC expression in NOD mouse (I-Ag7) and i can't find specific antibody to flow cytometry to this haplotyope. Do you have tested Anti-MHC Class II antibody [NIMR-4] to this mouse? How accurate is the measurement of MHC-II expression comparing this antibody and one specific to a haplotype?

Thank you for contacting us.
Unfortunately, none of our MHC class II antibodies are raised against specific haplotypes. The validation for ab25333 was performed using BALB/c spleen cells, and we do not currently have any feedback from customers using other strains of mouse. This antibody will be guaranteed for use on mouse samples, so if for some reason it does not work on mouse samples in flow cytometry or immunocytochemistry, we will be happy to refund or replace it for you as long as you contact us within six months of purchase.
Because ab25333 is a monoclonal antibody, as long as the epitope recognized by this antibody is conserved in the mice you are working with, it will accurately measure the expression. For polyclonal antibodies that recognize multiple epitopes, you may see weaker expression if the immunogen sequence is only partially conserved in your samples.
If you have the amino acid sequence for MHC Class II from the haplotype you are working with, I would be happy to compare it to the immunogen sequences for our antibodies. I hope this helps, please let me know if you need any additional information or assistance.
