    Essential transmembrane GTPase, which mediates mitochondrial fusion. Fusion of mitochondria occurs in many cell types and constitutes an important step in mitochondria morphology, which is balanced between fusion and fission. MFN1 acts independently of the cytoskeleton. Overexpression induces the formation of mitochondrial networks.

I believe there has been a misunderstanding here.

We try to provide all the information which we have regarding any product we carry and provide the most thorough data we can on our datasheets as you have undoubtably seen when using our Mitofusin 2 antibody. Our products made in house will invariably have that information available as well. We do have over 70,000 products on our catalog and this data is available to many of those products. However, we also receive a number of products from outside suppliers. Some of these products will have licensing agreements which preclude providing detailed immunogen sequences. In these instances we try and provide a range within immunogen protein against which the antibody is made.

Unfortunately the exact sequences of many of the immunogens used to create our proprietary. I have BLAST-ed the human and mouse Mitofusin 1 sequences and found that the identities between those species and dog were 91% and 94% respectively.

To our knowledge, these products have not been tested in dog tissues.
