Dear Tech support
Several questions regarding ab112147.
Why doesn't the kit include a positive control? Do you have any recommended positive control?
How can the kit be used for inhibition detection, can you recommend of an inhibitor control?
Can the kit work in the presence of DMSO and up to what DMSO concentration?

Thank you for your inquiry. Here are the answers to your questions.
1. Why doesn't the kit include a positive control? --MMPs proteins are all very expensive. And since the kit can measure all of them and a customer might only be interested in a specific one, it would make the kit too expensive for the customers.
2. Do you have any recommended positive control?--MMP1, 7, 8, and 13 are all very good ones.
3. How can the kit be used for inhibition detection, can you recommend of an inhibitor control?--The kit will detect most of the MMP proteins. Your customer will need a specific inhibitor for a specific MMP protein. Please review the link for a review.
4. Can the kit work in the presence of DMSO and up to what DMSO concentration?--Yes, we have tested samples containing up to 1% without problems.
I hope this information is helpful.
