Biological description
Potent and selective 5-HT4 agonist. Enhances electrically-evoked ileum contractions (EC50 = 73 nM). Shows low affinity for colon than for the rest of the GI tract. Accelerates gastric emptying and promotes gastrointestinal neurogenesis in vivo. Orally active. -
