Question

Please compare with your product ab37355 with our requirements and determine whether these are comparable – and if not, itemize the differences.

I suspect we might require a custom part number if you can provide them.

Also verify that the source serum has a U.S. origin. We are looking to get away from foreign source as the supply can be inconsistent.

Answer

While previous lots have come from other countries, our most recent lot of ab37355 is from aUS source.I suspect we will continue to try and obtain the serum from this US supplier; however, I would not be able to guarantee this. There are many factors involved when we have to alternate suppliers, such asavailability, cost, quality, etc.If you have aspecific request, please indicate it on the P/O and we will try to accommodate youor let you know an estimated availability date.

I hope that this is helpful. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you for contacting us.

We have the following mouse poyclonal antibody to be used as an isotype control in flow cytometry:

ab37356 (FITC conjugated; https://www.abcam.com/Mouse-IgG-FITC-Isotype-Control-ab37356.html)

In case of the unconjugated isotype control, a conjugation kit can be used to label the antibody: https://www.abcam.com/Easylink
We do carry several FITC conjugation kits: ab102885, ab102884 and ab102883.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please let me know if you need any more advice or information.
