  • Product overview

The Mouse TNFRSF4 Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit (OX40) (ab213894) is designed for the quantitative detection of Mouse TNFRSF4 in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, tissue homogenates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA).

The ELISA kit is based on standard sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technology. A monoclonal antibody from rat specific for TNFRSF4/OX40 has been precoated onto 96-well plates. Standards (Expression system for standard: NSO; Immunogen sequence: V20-P211) and test samples are added to the wells, a biotinylated detection polyclonal antibody from goat specific for TNFRSF4/OX40 is added subsequently and then followed by washing with PBS or TBS buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with PBS or TBS buffer. HRP substrate TMB was used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the Mouse TNFRSF4/OX40 amount of sample captured in plate.

  • Notes

Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 4, also known as ACT35 or CD134 is a cell surface glycoprotein that was discovered through the production of a monoclonal antibody raised against the HUT-102 cell line. It belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. CD134 was mapped to 1p36 by fluorescence in situ hybridization. CD134 is the primary receptor for feline immunodeficiency virus. CD134 expression can promote viral binding and renders cells permissive for viral entry, productive infection, and syncytium formation. Stimulating the receptor can improve the response to a powerful virus vector and may be useful in vaccine development.
