The antibody was applied on 16 µm thick transverse sections of adult brown ghost knifefish spinal cord. 2% paraformaldehyde was used during perfusion and for post-fixation of the tissue before cryosectioning. Incubating the tissue with AntigenPlus buffer, pH 7.4, for 30 minutes at RT greatly improved the labeling.
The image shows cytosolic and (some) nuclear labeling in numerous cells throughout the spinal cord, but not in the ependymal cells around the central canal. The specificity of the antibody is questionable and needs to be verified using other methods.
