Tissue specificityFound to be expressed in testis and placenta, and at lower levels in all the examined tissues with the exception of liver. Isoform 5 was found in leukocytes but not in brain, retina or testis.

Myosin IXA was immunoprecipitated from HeLa (human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) with ab241200 at 8 µl/reaction. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab241200 at 1/1000 dilution.
Lane 1: ab241200 IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.
Lane 2: Control IgG IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.
Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure time of 30 seconds.
Lysates prepared in NETN buffer.
