Brain penetrant metabolite of the atypical antipsychotic clozapine. Broad range of actions. Potent allosteric M1 partial agonist (IC50 = 55 nM for inhibition of [3H]-NMS binding). D2/D3 partial agonist. Also displays affinity at 5-HT1 and 5-HT2.
