    NANOGP8 may act as a transcription regulator. When overexpressed, promotes cells to enter into S phase and proliferation. Expressed in tumor uterine cervix, breast and urinary bladder tissues, and also osteosarcoma, hepatoma, and breast adenocarcinoma cancer cell lines.

Thank you for your patience. The lab told me that they didn't test the antibody to check reactivity with Nanog. Thus, we do not have any data to prove that the antibody will not crossreact with Nanog.   Due to the high homology between both proteins it might be difficult to make an antibody that is exclusively specific to Nanogp8. Thank you for contacting us. I was in touch with the originating lab, and received the following information: "This antibody is specific to NANOGP8. The sequence homology is 92% with NANOG." I have asked them again if they have done any tests to exclude crossreactivity with Nanog since a 92% homology is quite high. I will let you know what I hear back. Thank you for your patience.
