Inquiry: Hi, I am looking for a purified Alpha-1-antitrypsin protein to use for spiking samples in an ELISA (I am trying to validate your ab108799 ELISA kit for sputum samples). However, the A1AT standard provided in the ELISA kit is too dilute for this purpose. Can I ask what the solubility of your purified A1AT proteins is (particularly ab91136), or what the highest concentration you have been able to make of these proteins is? Best wishes,

Thank you for your message.
I can confirm that all three of the Alpha 1 anti trypsin proteins in our catalog are from human, and are full length. Therefore, theoretically, they could be detected by the antibodies in the kit and be used for your experiments. However, please note they have not been tested in ELISA or with this kit, so regrettably we are not able to guarantee them for this purpose.
