  • Relevance

Follicle stimulating hormone enables ovarian folliculogenesis to the antral follicle stage and is essential for Sertoli cell proliferation and maintenance of sperm quality in the testis. Members of the pituitary glycoprotein hormone family, of which FSH is one (see also luteinizing hormone, chorionic gonadotropin, and thyroid stimulating hormone), consist of a shared alpha chain and a beta chain encoded by a separate gene. The FSHB gene encodes the beta subunit of follicle stimulating hormone.

Thank you for your phone call. I am sending you the following discount codes for trying the antibodies in sELISA and mouse/rat. As for the proteins, I have found the following:

Luteinizing Hormone: none
FSH: ab51888 (human) - test in sELISA
TSH: ab110682 (human) - test in sELISA

Since the FSH and TSH proteins have not yet been tested in sELISA, I am sending you also discount codes for these proteins (see below). Unfortunately, we do not carry the Luteinizing Hormone protein.

In terms of secondary antibodies, you would only need one for the Luteinizing Hormone sELISA as none of these antibodies has an HRP label. The other antibody pairs for TSH and FSH contain an HRP-labeled primary antibody.

The suggested secondary antibodies are:
ab98799 - donkey anti-mouse IgG, preabsorbed, HRP (
ab98808 - goat anti-mouse IgG, preabsorbed, HRP (
