Here is the follow-up to my reply to your questions about the TGB protein, ab96516.

The concentration of TGB is determined by OD 280nM and the Extinction co-efficient is 0.9.

It is freeze dried from a solution of ammonium bicarbonate. This is a volatile buffer and means little buffer salt will remain after freeze drying. (It apparently dissociates into ammonia and carbon dioxide).

So what you receive is TGB in PBS. I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

TBG is freeze dried from 0.02M Ammonium Bicarbonate buffer, and reconstituted in PBS for delivery.

The format for delivery used to be lyophilized material but we do not have any remaining lyophilized stock.
