|WB||1/1000 - 1/5000.|
FunctionAccessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), that is believed not to be involved in catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.
Tissue specificityExpressed in all tissues examined with highest levels in heart, skeletal muscle and brain.
Sequence similaritiesBelongs to the complex I NDUFA5 subunit family.
Cellular localizationMitochondrion inner membrane.

NDUFA5 was immunoprecipitated from HEK-293T (human epithelial cell line from embryonic kidney transformed with large T antigen) whole cell lysate (1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) using ab241492 at 6 µg per reaction. Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ab241492 at 0.4 µg/ml.
Lane 1: ab241492 IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Lane 2: Control IgG IP in HEK-293T whole cell lysate.
Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 75 seconds.
All lanes : Anti-NDUFA5 antibody (ab241492) at 0.1 µg/ml
