I purchased this rabbit polyclonal AB against NMDAR1-C1 (ab6484) that works well for rat tissue but not at all for mouse. Has anyone else reported seeing this? My main question is about the AB immunogen. The protocol says that the AB was raised against the peptide representing the sequence of the C1 splice variant. Would you be able to tell me the exact peptide sequence used to make the AB? Did it cover the entire C1 cassette region or just a part of it. I'm very appreciative for any help you can give me.Thank you!

Thank you for your e-mail. This antibody has not been tested against other species than rat and your results suggest that the homology of the immunogen with the mouse protein is too low for the antibody to detect the mouse form. I am in touch with the supplier Novus to try to find out if the immunogen sequence is th whole C1 cassette region or a portion, I apologize for the delay,
