Target

  • Function

    Transcriptional regulator which is important for the differentiation and maintenance of meso-diencephalic dopaminergic (mdDA) neurons during development. It is crucial for expression of a set of genes such as SLC6A3, SLC18A2, TH and DRD2 which are essential for development of mdDA neurons.

  • ChIP analysis using ab41917 binding Nurr1 in Mouse microglia whole cell lysate. Cells were cross-linked for 10 minutes with 1% formaldehyde. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/100 in ChIP dilution buffer - 0.01% SDS, 1.1% Triton X-100, 1.2mM EDTA, 16.7mM Tris-HCl (pH8.1), 167mM NaCl, proteanase inhibitor cocktail) for 16 hours at 4°C. Protein binding was detected using real-time PCR.
    Negative Control: BV2 Mouse microglia cells.

    Positive control: LPS treated BV2 Mouse microglia cells.
