Thank you for contacting us. In answer to your question, the Annexin v-FITC Apoptosis detection kit (ab14085) is suitable for use both with human and mouse samples. The PAF Receptor peptide(ab107706) is used as the immunogen for the Anti-PAF Receptor antibody (ab104162) and is derived from residues 1-17 of the human PAF Receptor, details of which can be found here: www.abcam.com/ab104162 This sequence shares 66% homology with the mouse protein, with the first 2 and last 8 amino acids matching the human sequence exatcly. This peptide can be used as a blocking peptide for ab104162. I you intend to use the peptide for other applications I would need more information in order to ascertain if the peptide would be compatible with mouse. I hope this information is helpful to you.
