I contact you in order to know if your anti-SAPAP3 antibodies (ab67224) are suitable for
Immunoprecipitation assay and what the best quantity required for it ?
Asked on Apr 19 2012
Thank you very much for your interest in our anti SAPAP3 antibody ab67224.
We do not know whether the ab67224 is suitable for immunoprecipitation (IP), as we have not tested this experimentally. The chances are there, as the antibody does recongize the epitope in a rather native conformation such as ELISA. As this however needs to be tested experimentally first, we can make provide you with a testing discount offer if you would like to test this.
For an IP, we do recommend normally to use about 1ug of purified antibody. For other recommandations in regards to the immunoprecipitationprocedure, I can recommend to have a look at our online protocol: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?pageconfig=resource&rid=11385
The testing offer which we can provide is the following: We can offer a discount off a future purchase if you buy ab67224 now, test it inIP and submit feedback to us in the form of an Abreview. It doesn’t matter whether the Abreview is positive or negative, we would just really like to receive your feedback. The discount would be to the value of: 1 free primary antibody.
