Searching for anti-human PDL1 or anti-human PD1 to block ligand-receptor binding
Asked on Dec 20 2016
We do not currently have any antibodies that are known to inhibit/neutralize either human PD-L1 or PD1 but ab80276, also known as clone MIH6, may be the best choice, though we do not have data for human reactivity, just mouse. The paper at J Exp Med. 2003 Jul 7;198(1):63-9, PMID: 12847137, describes validation by flow cytometry and an in vivo inhibition treatment protocol.
Reactivity with human PD-L1 is uncertain. Alignment of murine PD-L1 and the human protein returns 69% identity. We do not offer free samples and our standard guarantee does not currently apply to a test of human samples, but we offer a program called Abtrial (https://www.abcam.com/content/abtrial-program-test-risk-free) for testing this antibody for inhibition of human PD-L1.
