I ordered Peroxiredoxin 3 antibody ab 16751 a few months ago. When I did western blot I detected a band at 22 KDa and few non-specific between 50-60 Kda. According to me it seems like I was sent ab73349, which is the other peroxiredoxin 3 antibody sold by abcam.
My worry is that since ab73349 detects 22 Kda band, is it really detecting Peroxiredoxin 3? What's known about this antibody production.
I'm in my finishing stages of PhD and peroxiredoxin 3 is the last western I need to do. Could you please help me with this antibody. Thanks,
