Target

  • Function

    Mediates E3-dependent ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation of target proteins, including p53/TP53, HDAC1 and CDKN1B. Preferentially acts on tetrameric p53/TP53. Contributes to the regulation of CDKN1B and p53/TP53 levels, and thereby contributes to the regulation of the cell cycle progression. Increases AR transcription factor activity.

  • Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse liver tissue labeling Pirh2 with ab189247 at 1/50 dilution. The slide is counterstained with Hematoxylin.

  • Immunofluorescence analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed HeLa cells labeling Pirh2 with ab189247 at 1/100 dilution. Goat anti-rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 555) at 1/200 dilution was used as the secondary antibody (red). Slide is counter stained with DAPI (blue).
