    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have been trying to gather further information in relation the the three anti-PITPNC1 antibodies we have from our catalogue.

    Taking each in turn:

    Mouse polyclonal ab68013

    This antibody shows a band of ˜ 32 kDa in Western blotting. This is to be expected as the blot was performed using PITPNC1 transfected 293T cell lysate. The transfected lysate was of the isoform 2 of PITPNC1 (SwissProt reference Q9UKF7) which is just under 32 kDa in size.

    Rabbit polyclonal ab95225

    This antibody has been used in western blotting on HL60 cell lysate. The band observed is in the region of 32 kDa. This could again be explained as the isoform 2 of PITPNC1. However, we have not performed any further experiments to confirm this and no siRNA experiments have been performed to asses if the protein levels diminish.

    Rabbit polyclonal ab118213

    This antibody shows a band of ˜38 kDa in Western blotting with a non-specific band at ˜70 kDa. The nature of this non-specific band has not been investigated. It may be that with further optimisation of the Western blotting protocol these may reduce.
