Answer

ab102068 and ab80128 are very similar. They are both rabbit polyclonals against the human protein and have been validated in WB. The storage buffer differs however, (ab102068: 2% Sucrose, PBS. ab80128: 0.02% Sodium Azide, 1% BSA, PBS, pH 7.4.)
The main difference is the immunogen used. ab10268' s immunogen corresponds to a region within internal sequence amino acids 71-120 whereas ab80128's immunogen is amino acids xxxxxxx of the human protein.
I have performed sequence alignments and both of these antibodies will recognise isoform 1 as well as isoform 2.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us.

The prediction of reactivity with zebrafish is based on the 100% identity of the immunogen sequence with the homologous zebrafish PNRC2 sequence, not experiment. We have not tested the antibody in IHC/IF/IP, only western blotting and ELISA.
