Mediates interaction of WDR82 and PPP1CA. Inhibitor of PPP1CA and PPP1CC phosphatase activities. Has inhibitory activity on PPP1CA only when phosphorylated. PNUTS contains a number of potential phosphorylation sites (SwissProt) which may explain its migration at a higher molecular weight than predicted. The 110 kDa band observed is comparable to the molecular weight seen with other commercially available antibodies to this target.
