We have used human plasma at a dilution of 10,000x. Rat plasma was also tested at 50x but there was no cross-reactivity.

1. I can confirm that the kits ab108902 (Transferrin Human ELISA Kit) and ab108788 (Albumin Human ELISA kit) were especially optimised for cell culture samples and I recommend to choose them for the experiment.

2. We do offer bulk oder discounts. If you order 5 or more products you will get a discount. For 6 products you will currently get a 5% discount. Please do not forget to mention that when ordering. 3. I can confirm that c stands for competitive ELISA and s stands for sandwich ELISA. In a competitive ELISA the competitor is labeled with biotin and the amount of the bound competitor is measured. This means that a high OD indicates a low amount of the protein of interest in your sample. A low OD means that the competitor has been ousted and there is a high amount of the protein of interest in the sample.

4. I can confirm that the main difference between these two kits is the sensitivity. Both are suitable for cell culture supernatant, urine, serum, plasma.
