Receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory peptide anaphylatoxin C3a. This receptor stimulates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release and superoxide anion production. -
Tissue specificity
Widely expressed in several differentiated hematopoietic cell lines, in the lung, spleen, ovary, placenta, small intestine, throughout the brain, heart, and endothelial cells. Mostly expressed in lymphoid tissues. -

Immunofluorescence staining of fixed human peripheral blood monocytes (PBMs) with ab288413 Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed human PBMs on Shi-fix™ coverslips, permeabilized with 0.15% Triton and stained with ab288413 at 10 µg/ml for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (1 µg/ml), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show from left-right, top-bottom ab288413 , DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control.
