    Question

I contact you as I would need to have the concentration of one of your antibody. This is apparently a tissue culture supernatant but I would still like to know if you could give me a range of concentration for this antibody. The reference is Ab75877.

    Asked on May 31 2012

    Answer

According to the datasheet, this antibody is indeed a non-purified cell culture supernatantproduct. That means, along with whole serum and Ascitesproducts, the antibody concentration cannot be determined as there are too many other proteins in this solution as well.

However, we have a table under our Technical FAQs (Question 8, What concentration of primary antibody should I use?) which explains how much specific antibody can be expected in the non-purified products. In this case it is 1 - 3 mg/ml.
