    Question

Dear technical officer, Here I am writing to enquire about the concentration of the following 2 antibodies (rabbit anti-nidogen1 (Ab14511) and rabbit anti-nidogen2 (Ab14513)as I will need the information to determine the concentration for the isotype control. I'm sorry that I do not have the batch num for the antibodies. I'll be most grateful if you could provide the information about their concentration, if not, a range of concentration for the 2 antibodies. Many thanks,

    Answer

Thank you for your enquiry. I can confirm that both ab14511 and ab14513 are sold as whole antiserum. As antibody concentration is usually determined by a protein assay, I am sorry it is not possible to provide a concentration for antibody in antiserum as it contains many other proteins. As a general guideline, antiserum is thought to contain about 1 - 10 mg/ml of antibody. I am sorry we are not able to be more precise on this occasion. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
