Target

  • Relevance

The H-H-H-H-H-H motif is used as a tag on many recombinant proteins to facilitate purification. His-tags can be fused to the amino- or carboxy- termini of proteins in transfected or transformed cells.
  • Cellular localization

Depends upon the localization of the parent protein tagged with hexahistidine.

Cells were prepared by short trypsinisation in PBS/1% FBS/0.2% sodium azide and fixed with formaldehyde. The gate included all single cells. The sample was incubated with  a 6X His tag® primary antibody for 1 hour at 4°C. ab1206 was used as the secondary. On the image, the red line represents cells stained with ab1206 alone, and the blue line is the tested sample carrying a 6XHis tag®.  The small peak to the right represents cells that bound the tested sample.

Answer

I've assembled a list of the items that you would need forDengue Virus NS1 glycoprotein detection. Capture antibody ab41646,Anti-Dengue Virus NS1 glycoprotein antibody [DN3] Mouse monoclonal: https://www.abcam.com/Dengue-Virus-NS1-glycoprotein-antibody-DN3-ab41616.html Dengue Virus NS1 glycoproteinProtein, ab64456. This is a His tagged protein which allows for a greater selection of detection antibodies and thereby give you options for detection substrates: https://www.abcam.com/Dengue-Virus-NS1-glycoprotein-protein-His-tag-ab64456.html Detection antibody. These are all rabbit polyclonal with differing labels that you might use with different detection systems: FITC labeled:https://www.abcam.com/6X-His-tag-antibody-FITC-ab1206.html HRP labeled:https://www.abcam.com/6X-His-tag-antibody-HRP-ab1187.html, you would need to purchase an HRP chromogen substrate for detection using this. Biotin labeled:https://www.abcam.com/6X-His-tag-antibody-Biotin-ab27025.html,you would need to purchase a streptavidin conjugated chromogen substrate system for detection using this. You may want to use ab41646, the 'capture' antibody for 'detection' instead. To do that you will need to conjugate a tag to the antibody. We have a number of products available for that. Here is the link to all of our EasyLink Conjugation kits: https://www.abcam.com/index.html?pageconfig=resource&rid=13148&source=pagetrap&viapagetrap=easylink A link to the FAQs for EasyLink, please review these as they contain very helpful information:https://www.abcam.com/index.html?pageconfig=resource&rid=13156 We offer 3 sizes for FITC conjugation, I've linked those below: https://www.abcam.com/EasyLink-FITC-Conjugation-Kit-3-x-10%C2%B5g-FITC-ab102885.html https://www.abcam.com/EasyLink-FITC-Conjugation-Kit-3-x-100%C2%B5g-FITC-ab102884.html https://www.abcam.com/EasyLink-FITC-Conjugation-Kit-3-x-100%C2%B5g-FITC-ab102884.html
