    Defects in HADHB are a cause of trifunctional protein deficiency (TFP deficiency) [MIM:609015]. The clinical manifestations are very variable and include hypoglycemia, cardiomyopathy and sudden death. Phenotypes with mainly hepatic and neuromyopathic involvement can also be distinguished. Biochemically, TFP deficiency is defined by the loss of all three enzyme activities of the TFP complex.

Both these antibodies have been raised against the native human HADHA protein, the sequence of which is on the following protein database link: http://www.uniprot.org/uniprot/P40939 I am sorry I have regrettably not been able to find the rabbit sequence to perform an alignment for you. I can recommend to try this if you have the rabbit sequence? Or if you are able to send the rabbit sequence to me, I can perform the alignment for you. As discussed on the phone, if the alignment is high enough, it is quite likely that the antibody would detect in rabbit.
