RE: (cat ab181950, ab181957, ab181966). Can you tell us the information in regard to the origin, conformation (dimeric, hexameric), glycosilation, specific serotypes and if it has been bioassayed?

Answer

The DENV NS1 protein products are all full length mammalian recombinants produced in a human cell line. They are hexameric in conformation as demonstrated by a single sharp peak at around 440kDa via SEC. They are correctly glycosylated due to the fact they are produced in human cells a band shift is seen when treated with endoglycosidases. The serotypes we used are as follows:



A leading Dengue research lab has confirmed they are reactive to dengue anti-sera (whereas NS1 produced in bacterial cells is not reactive).
