Relevance
CDA (Cytidine deaminase) scavengers exogenous and endogenous cytidine and 2'-deoxycytidine for UMP synthesis. Growth inhibition of granulocyte-macrophage colony foring cells by human cytidine deaminase requires the catalytic function of the protein. It is highly expressed in granulocytes.
