Anti-DYKDDDDK tag Affinity Beads (Binds to FLAG® tag sequence) (ab270704) is an affinity chromatography medium designed for easy, one-step purification or immunoprecipitation of DYKDDDDK (flag) at N-terminal, C-terminal and internal locations of a fusion protein. Anti-DYKDDDDK Affinity Beads are coupled with an anti-DYKDDDDK monoclonal antibody by a technique which generates a stable linkage between the antibody and the agarose beads.

For the purification of DYKDDDDK-tagged fusion proteins, Anti-DYKDDDDK tag Affinity Beads can be used in column chromatography, batch format and immunoprecipitation.For large volumes of sample, column chromatography or batch format are recommended to quickly capture the target protein from a large volume of extract.
When a small amount of sample is being purified, immunoprecipitation procedure is recommended.
Notes
This product is manufactured by Expedeon, an Abcam company, and was previously called Amintra® Anti-DYKDDDDK Affinity Beads. Expedeon product codes AF0001 (1 mL Medium), AF0005 (5 mL Medium), AF0010 (10mL Medium), AF0025 (25 mL Medium), and AF0050 (50 mL Medium) are the same as the current sizes: 1 mL, 5 mL, 10 mL, 25 mL, and 50 mL, respectively.
