Question

I need second Ab with fluorochrome specific for primary mouse IgG2a without crossreactivity to human Ig and mouse IgG. Is pruduct 130787 suitable for this purpose? I have human cells bound with two primary mouse mAbs (mouse IgG1 and IgG2a) in human serum. I need detect mouse IgG2a only.

In this case, I would recommend using a pre-adsorbed secondary antibody thus reducing the risk of cross-reactivity between the secondary antibody and endogenous immunoglobulins present on cell and tissue samples. ab130787 is indeed pre-adsorbed to Mouse IgM, IgG1, IgG2b, IgG3 and IgA, pooled Human sera and purified Human paraproteins. This therefore means that it should not react with any of immunoglobulins.

This Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG2a - heavy chain (PE/Cy7 ®), pre-adsorbed (ab130787) would therefore be appropriate as would Goat polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Mouse IgG2a - heavy chain (Allophycocyanin/Cy7®), pre-adsorbed (ab130788).
