    Will this goat anti-rat secondary also detect mouse IgG?

    Thank you for your inquiry.

    I heard back from the supplying lab that this secondary will most likely cross-react with mouse IgG, due to similarity with ratIgG,although this hasn't been specifically tested.

    I know you said that this was a concern with some of your other mouse IgG primary antibodies with dual staining. I'd recommend using a pre-adsorbed antibody like donkey polyclonal Secondary Antibody to Rat IgG - H&L (AP), pre-adsorbed, ab102215, which will show minimal cross-reactivity with human and mouse.
