    Antiserum was solid phase adsorbed to ensure class specificity. Antiserum was cross adsorbed using human, mouse and rat immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibodies. The antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using antigen coupled to agarose beads and conjugated to Horse Radish Peroxidase.

    By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with goat IgG. Cross reactivity with IgA and IgM is negligible. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. Less than 1% cross reactivity to human, mouse and rat IgG was detected. This antibody may cross react with IgG from other species.

Question

We have bought the following conjugates from your company. We asked the agancy that we bought about the temperature to keep them to increase the time of keeping. They told us to keep them in -20 C0 and we did for two weeks up to now, but now when we checked your website information it is recommended to be kept in 4 degree castigates.

Please let me know if keeping them in -20 C0 has made any problem for them and can we continue to keep them in this temperature or not?

Thank you for contacting us.

The datasheet of these antibodies say "Store at +4°C short term (1-2 weeks). Aliquot and store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze / thaw cycles"

This mean after receiving the antibody you can keep antibody at 4C for 1-2 weeks when using in your experiments. After you finish your experiment we recomendaliquoting the antibody 5-10 ul in vialsand storing at -20C. We suggest this to avoidthe extra freeze thawing steps, every time you use the antibody.

If you have already stored it at -20C, this is absolutely fine!
