Abcam’s protease inhibitor cocktails inhibit a variety of endogenous proteases to protect your protein samples from degradation.
Ideal for bacterial cell extracts using metal chelation chromatography.
Target proteases - serine proteases, aminopeptidase B, leucine aminopeptidase, cysteine proteases, metalloproteases, aspartic proteases
Inhibitors included - AEBSF hydrochloride, bestatin, E-64, EDTA disodium salt, pepstatin A
Form: Supplied as 1 vial of lyophilised cocktail and 1 vial of DMSO (1 ml)
Preparation: Reconstitute with 1 ml DMSO and 4 ml DI water to obtain a 5 ml solution

Notes
Individual components and concentrations:
AEBSF hydrochloride: serine protease inhibitor (20 mM)
Bestatin: aminopeptidase B and leucine aminopeptidase inhibitor (1.7 mM)
E-64: cysteine protease inhibitor (0.2 mM)
EDTA disodium salt: metalloprotease inhibitor (85 mM)
Pepstatin A: aspartic protease inhibitor (2 mM)
