Target

  • Function

    Ligand for the NKG2D receptor. Delivers activating signals to NK cells and promotes tumor immune surveillance by inducing the expansion of anti-tumor cytotoxic lymphocytes.
  • Tissue specificity

    Predominantly expressed in the skin, but also expressed in testis and trachea. Up-regulated in tumor cells of different origins. Expression progressively decreased after treatment of tumor cells with retinoic acid.

  • RAET1E was immunoprecipitated from 1mg of HeLa (Human epithelial cells from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell lysate with ab200662 at 1/100 dilution.

    Lane 1: HeLa whole cell lysate 10 µg (Input).

    Lane 2: ab200662 IP in HeLa whole cell lysate.

    Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab200662 in HeLa whole cell lysate.

    Western blot was performed using ab200662 at 1/2000 dilution.

    Anti-Rabbit IgG (HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/1500 dilution.

    Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration: 5% NFDM/TBST.
