• Application notes
Tested in peptide ELISA. Antibody detection limit dilution 1/8000.
WB: Use at a concentration of 0.3 µg/ml. Predicted molecular weight: 110 kDa.
WB experiments gave bands at approx 95kDa, 75kDa and 45kDa in Lung Carcinoma lysate after antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the additional bands we observe given the predicted size according to NP_060275. The detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

    Not tested in other applications.
Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.
  • Target

    • Function
May act as effector for Golgi-bound HRAS and other Ras-like proteins. May promote HRAS-mediated transformation.
    • Tissue specificity
Highly expressed in heart. Detected at lower levels in placenta and pancreas.
    • Sequence similarities
      Contains 1 dilute domain.
      Contains 1 Ras-associating domain.
    • Cellular localization
Cytoplasm > perinuclear region. Golgi apparatus > Golgi stack. Associated with perinuclear vesicles. Is recruited to Golgi stacks by activated HRAS.

    Customer reviews and Q&As

    Thank you for your enquiry.

I am sorry to confirm that because this antibody is a Fast Track antibody, we are not able to provide AbTrial in this case. This is becuase there is a possibility to obtain a large number of Abpoints for submission of the first Abreview with conclusive data for a fast track antibodies. I am sorry we are regrettably unable to offer this in addition to an Abtrial discount.

I am forwarding here the information regarding submission of Abreviews for Fast Track antibodies (This can be found on the Read terms of Use link on the Fast track Abreview datasheets):

We will award 950 bonus Abpoints to the first researcher who sends us positive feedback for a fast track antibody (including an image and details of materials and methods). Conclusive negative feedback that leads us to withdraw the antibody will also be rewarded with 950 bonus Abpoints. Other useful positive and negative feedback will be rewarded with the standard Abpoints for submitting an Abreview (please refer to Abreviews terms and conditions for more detailed information). All awards are subject to approval by Abcam scientists and provision of suitable data. Please submit feedback to fast-track@abcam.com

To find out more about our Abreview system, please see the following link:

I hope this information is helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact us again with any other questions.
