Phone call requesting information about IL10 and TNF alpha kits suitable for use with bronchoalveolar lavage with rat samples

Thank you for contacting us and your interest in our products.
I now have further information to share with you in regards to which IL10 and TNF alpha kits we have which may be suitable for the application you wish to use them with.
Having looked through our catalogue I would recommend trying the IL10 kit (ab100764) and TNF alpha kit (ab100784). Although we have not tried them ourselves with bronchoalveolar lavage samples, but these kits should be applicable, although as we have not tried it ourselves I would not be able to guarantee it. The fluid collected shouldn't need to be prepared any differently to serum or culture supernatant as described in the protocol booklets of these kits.
I have found a few references which may be of use to you in regards to the experiment:
It seems that generally these kind of samples are used undiluted, but if you find the signal too strong you can dilute them using the Assay diluent provided to dilute cell culture media samples.
I hope this information has been of help. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.
