Answer

Thank you for contacting us. I have contacted the laboratory and they have indicated it is necessary to keep this product on dry ice at all times to avoid loss in activity. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Answer

Thank you for contacting us yesterday and you interest in our products.

I have had a look into your query relating to whether the HIV protease proteins (ab113857, ab124313, ab124858 and ab84117) are all active. The title you have noticed where "Active" is included is down to an inconsistency in naming in our catalogue, it is not an indicator that ab113857 or ab124858 are not active. I am sorry for this confusion, I am going to try to have this amended.

Each one of the proteins have been shown to have enzyme activity through peptide cleavage assays. Details of these assays can be found on each of the individual datasheets of the products. This means that all of them should be suitable for your experiment if you are using a peptide sequence recognised by the protease. The experiment you are hoping to perform would be covered by the Abpromise guarantee. More information on this guarantee can be found from the following page:

If you would like to try any of the proteins, I'd like to encourage you tosubmit anAbreview via the online product datasheet once you have used it in your assay. As a thank you you will be rewarded with Abpoints which can be used to redeem against Amazon vouchers or future purchases from us. We always appreciate customer feedback, whether positive or negative, and we make all product information available to researchers.
