I have had a look into your query relating to whether the HIV protease proteins (ab113857, ab124313, ab124858 and ab84117) are all active. The title you have noticed where "Active" is included is down to an inconsistency in naming in our catalogue, it is not an indicator that ab113857 or ab124858 are not active. I am sorry for this confusion, I am going to try to have this amended.

Each one of the proteins have been shown to have enzyme activity through peptide cleavage assays. Details of these assays can be found on each of the individual datasheets of the products. This means that all of them should be suitable for your experiment if you are using a peptide sequence recognised by the protease.
