Dear Sir or Madam, Do you have any information about the molar extinction coefficient of the Annexin V protein (human)" (ab89493)? Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we currently do not have the molar extinction coefficient available. However, using the amino acid sequence (UniProt ID P08758) and a tool for the prediction of physico-chemical parameters (http://expasy.org/tools/ or http://web.expasy.org/protparam/) the following results are obtained: Extinction coefficients are in units of M-1 cm-1, at 280 nm measured in water. Ext. coefficient 23380 Abs 0.1% (=1 g/l) 0.651, assuming all pairs of Cys residues form cystines Ext. coefficient 23380 Abs 0.1% (=1 g/l) 0.651, assuming all Cys residues are reduced I hope this information is helpful to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further advice or information in this regard.
