    The normal physiological role of BLM hydrolase is unknown, but it catalyzes the inactivation of the antitumor drug BLM (a glycopeptide) by hydrolyzing the carboxamide bond of its B-aminoalaninamide moiety thus protecting normal and malignant cells from BLM toxicity.

Le laboratoire m'a confirmé que la protéine BLMH ab101205 est fournie sous sa forme active. Son activité spécifique d'hydrolyse du Met-AMC à pH 7,5 et à 37ºC est de > 1,000 pmole/min/µg.

Nous n'avons pas de données pour le clivage de lysats de tissus ou cellules humaines ou souris mais ceci devrait fonctionner.

La protéine est fournie sous forme liquide à une concentration de 1mg/ml.
