Hello, I'm interested in Human BMP9 protein. I wanted to know if your product is biologically active and how do you assay its biological activity. Meaning, does it bind to its receptor and initiate signaling? Thanks!

Thank you very much for your inquiry.
I can confirm that ab94350 is only a fragment of the BMP9 protein.
We have preliminary results that it is biological active. This was determined by its ability to induce alkaline phosphatase production by ATDC-5 cells. The expected ED50 for this effect is 0.5-1.9 ng/ml.
I hope this information is helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact me again with any further questions.
