Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

Shipped at 4°C. Upon delivery aliquot. Store at -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein on reconstitution (0.1% HSA or BSA).

    pH: 7.50
    Constituents: 0.6% Tris, 0.75% Glycine, 3% Trehalose

This product is an active protein and may elicit a biological response in vivo, handle with caution.

  • Reconstitution
Reconstitute the lyophilized product in 100 µl sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage. 5-10% trehalose is commonly used for freeze drying, and after reconstitution, the trehalose is mostly about 3-5%

  • Function

Inhibitory receptor which may contribute to the down-regulation of cytolytic activity in natural killer (NK) cells, and to the down-regulation of mast cell degranulation.
  • Tissue specificity

Expressed not only by natural killer (NK) cells but also by T-cell subsets, B-cells, dendritic cells, mast cells, granulocytes and monocytes.
  • Sequence similarities

    Belongs to the CD300 family.
    Contains 1 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain.
  • Post-translational

    Phosphorylated on tyrosine.
  • Cellular localization

    Cell membrane.
