Preparation and Storage

  • Stability and Storage

    Shipped at 4°C. Store at 4°C (stable for up to 12 months). Store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid freeze / thaw cycle.

    Constituents: 0.61% Tris, 0.75% Glycine, L-Arginine, Sodium chloride

    Lyophilized from 0.22 µm filtered solution.
    5-10% trehalose is commonly used for freeze drying, and after reconstitution, the trehalose is mostly about 3-5%

  • Reconstitution
    Reconstitute the lyophilized product in sterile deionized water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Solubilize for 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature with occasional gentle mixing. Carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is strongly recommended for further dilution and long term storage. After reconstitution, store under sterile conditions for 3 months (-70oC).

    Probable role in regulating adaptive and innate immune responses. Binds in a calcium-dependent manner to terminal galactose and N-acetylgalactosamine units, linked to serine or threonine. These sugar moieties are known as Tn-Ag and are expressed in a variety of carcinoma cells.
